Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Venetian Alleyway [Sky Watch Fridaty]
Well, not much of a sky to speak of, but, I like the silhouetted objects against it. This is from another of my archival slides that I scanned and made digital. Having done that, I decided it looked better in B & W. While it is not your typical view of Venice, who could resist such a nice narrow street and the lighting at dusk?

Awesome shot!
My sky shot is the Spaceship Earth, have a safe and happy weekend!
This works wonderfully in black and white.
Great image!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
What a wonderful photo. And agree with your choice of b&w, nice!!
Lovely!
Nice framing!
Fabulous photo. This was one of my favourite aspects of Venice - glimpses of heat and sky framed by the relative coolness of the alleys and canals. Nicely done, I like the B&W too.
