Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Portraits 2 [Orange You Glad It's Friday]

  We are back from Sedona ... great place to holiday!! But, to the business at hand, OYGIF.  Here are some additional portraits from my archive. These images were shot on two continents: the baby with the bright orange hat was in a stroller somewhere on a street in Berlin. The second baby was sitting on her father’s lap while riding on a double-decker tour bus in Pittsburgh, PA [hence, a little motion blur]. Finally, we encountered the young boy in the doorway while hiking in Turkey. I hope these shots bring a smile to your face.
