Welcome/Willkommen!

Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Exquisite! I love this flower, so briefly enjoyed once a year. The leaves do turn wonderful colors in the fall.

That is the one tree which I would like to have, Dogwood but it doesn't exist here in Finland. During the spring I have seen severals pictures of Dogwood and I really have started to love it, it is so beautiful when it is blooming. Really great macros and the water drops makes it perfect.
Have a nice week

This brought back memories of a wonderful year in the USA (Patuxent River MD) in 1975. I loved the dogwoods - we don't have them in Oz. Very nice dogwood pics, in fact, ALL lovely pics. I found myself arriving here from a comment thread on Brisbane Daily Photo. Happy 4th July!

That's one of the amazing things about photography, you end up having a better look at the world, especially the macro world.
