Welcome/Willkommen!
Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

What a beautiful bloom, the honey bee is certainly enjoying herself. Great macro shot.
Humor...ha ha...You'd never hurt that bee. Nice shot, this two-fer. I'm doing flowers too.
Love the delicate edges of the petals -- very nice shot Stan. Glad the bee was not harmed. ;)
Wow.
Stand back, Georgia O'Keeffe!
Nice shot and great macro..:-)
Gorgeous macro and flower.
Thank you Stan for your lovely comments and thanks to your wife for identifying my flower. It is indeed a diablo flower.
Still, you have to link back to Macro Flowers Saturday if you want to participate. From last week's experience you don't want to do that, so please, make up your mind!
Well done! Look at all the yellow pollen on the bee.
I don't think it needs to be cleaned up. I like it how it is!
Great job and that bee looks pretty content! :)
I didn't have much time to check out the site but I did see the backyard ferns and rose photos. Nice!
Preciosas foto, la flor con unos bonitos colores. Muy agradables
Thanks for stopping by my blog.
You have some fantastic shots here Stan.
Love your flowers and ferns.
Great colors. I like the photo just like it is.
Really nice! You will need to 'catch' another bee for the next challenge! ; )
Lovely shot!
Jen
