Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Harley Davidson details

 I am not into motorcycling, but find the machines fascinating objects for photography. So, as a brief change of pace, I thought I'd post some images from shots I took several years ago. I revisited them today, made a few edits, and then posted them here and on Flickr [with the Rochester Urban Photographers group].

My man still dreams of owning a HD, all that shine, super details, and the last one, looking at the handle grip, I can almost see the rider getting on and revving it up. A story in those superb photos for sure, Cheers from Jean
