Good to be back after a four week hiatus. Truth be told, I had run out of candidates for SWF posting, and, my wife and I went on vacation to Sedona, Arizona [again]. It is a wonderful place to visit!! The shots below are of Cathedral Rock, which is perhaps the most photographed site in Sedona [several pics were posted earlier from a trip in Oct. 2012]. Images like these two appear in travel and photography magazines, as well as promotional materials for Arizona. You could say that they are iconic, while others might say ‘cliche’ [but, I worked to get these, so I made them mine]. In coming weeks, I’ll post additional Cathedral Rock images that were taken at other locations. Like the Eiffel Tower, you can never make enough shots.
Welcome/Willkommen!
Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

They are indeed your own photos, stunning reflections, never too many at all. Cheers from Jean
Wow! These are very beautiful. Enjoy the weekend.
Great blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?
A theme like yours with a few simple tweeks would really
make my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got
your design. Kudos
