Welcome/Willkommen!

Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Details of the Freddie-Sue Bridge [Sky Watch Friday]

Extending last week’s post of my ‘Freddie-Sue’ Bridge panorama, here are several shots showing various details of the  bridge. It is quite remarkable that one can easily approach, and even walk under, the bridge along the brick/cement walkway that parallels the river.

Wonderful shots! The last one is my favorite!

Love the repetitive elements in these photos. They lead your eye right into the photo. It doesn't look like you could walk under that last photo! Has to be the angle you took the picture at! Well done!

You have splendid shots, Stan. This is my first time here too, so thanks for your appreciation of my photos, coming from someone like you that is wonderful. I have sunrises at my provincial home, and sunsets in my city dwelling. If life is only made of sunrise and sunsets, i cannot ask for more, haha! By the way, that header is spectacular.
