We left our hotel on Front Street and began walking to the St. Lawrence Market [to have a breakfast ‘peameal bacon on a bun’ at the Carousel Bakery]. Along the way, there were some fine opportunities for photography provided you looked back over your shoulder. Here are a few of the images I made and they are my last posting from our Toronto trip. Note that the CN Tower is present, and seems almost adjacent to the other buildings; but, that is just an illusion.
Welcome/Willkommen!
Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Stunning skyscrapers along the backdrop of a beautiful sky. Thanks for sharing.
It does look as though the CN tower is adjacent to the others. Though I generally think of towers as sterile and industrial in appearance, your photos make the scene very appealing. Have a terrific weekend.
What a contrast between the modern buildings and the old church.
Fantastic sky photos, and an impressive architecture! I love that old little building in front of these large modern towers!
Greetings
