Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Post Processing Abstracts 3 [Orange You Glad It’s Friday]

   This past March I started a mini-series called Post Processing Abstracts, which was not linked with OYGIF. I don’t know how, but I became side-tracked and never posted further installments. And, today, I was stunned to find a folder [located on my cluttered Desktop] with files waiting to be uploaded. As luck would have it, several are images suitable for OYGIF. So, I'll take this opportunity to get back on track.
