Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Salt Lake City Aerial [Sky Watch Friday]

This image has a rather interesting history. First, it was shot through the window of an American Airlines jet as we were approaching the Salt Lake City airport [this was sometime in the Spring of 1978]. The Kodachrome slide was stored in a carousel or Vis-File page over the decades. A few years ago, when I began scanning some of my archive to go digital, I chose this one. Like all my other slide scans, I had had to clean up the accumulated Schmutz in Photoshop Elements; but, this one was in dire need of color correction. Much of the blue still remains, and there are other imperfections that need attention. Some day I will get back to work on it -- but, for now, I  still find it a pleasing image -- especially knowing that I had only one or two chances to get the shot.
