Welcome/Willkommen!

Hello and welcome. Hope you enjoy the images I have posted. Please do not reproduce them without my permission. Most are available as note/greeting cards or as prints/enlargements. Thank you for visiting my site and your comments.
Many have asked about the Header image above, which I named 'Eerie Genny'. It was originally shot with film [taken on the shore of the Genesee River near the Univ. of Rochester]. During the darkroom development, I flashed a light above the tray. The process, known as 'solarization', produces eerie, ghostlike effects; some have mistaken this image as an infra-red photo. Some 35+ years later, I scanned and digitized the print, and did a little modern day editing, and, voila.

Venetian Dusk [Sky Watch Friday]

I thought I'd go back to my archive and look for an image that is a 'change of pace' compared to my recent postings.  This shot was originally in slide form, scanned, digitized and cleaned up. You wouldn't believe the Schmutz that accumulates on slides that were stored in Vis-File pages. Fog can really enhance the mood of an image, and I was lucky with this one. Happy Passover/Easter to all!!!

That's a very nice shot. I love the contrast of the colorful boats and the moody gray sky and water. Well done! I have tons of slides too. Haven't scanned any yet though. Don't quite know what shape they're in at this point. Enjoy!

So cool that you can digitalize slides... it's on my to-do list. An yes, I have a ton of slides in those plastic sleeve holders that have gotten all cruddy! Have a happy Easter.

What a beautiful scene, subtle beauty displayed~

Would you consider removing word verification...it was suggested to me several weeks ago and it is still safe and secure and is so much easier for people desiring to leave comments.
